Students from Ms. Keller's 7th & 8th grade Art classes were invited to participate in the "Artsy Chair Affair" by Emily Roush, education and marketing director of the Highland Museum in Ashland, Kentucky. This project is a fund raiser for the museum and the Paramount Arts Theater. The chairs and material were supplied by the museum and sponsorship by Dr. Gerry Trinidad.

The students will visit the museum and view all the chairs submitted for the auction during a field trip in October. Students learned about the business of art and every stage of the project from from the extra hours after school and during lunch: sanding, priming, designing, painting, and sealing.
