PES 4th grade students recently decorated pillowcases in hopes of  better preparing families in the event of a disaster.   Students decorate a pillowcase they can stuff at home with emergency supplies, like clothes, medicines, water, health items, toilet paper, etc. The Pillowcase Project is a preparedness education program, conducted by the Red Cross, which teaches students about personal and family preparedness, local hazards, and basic coping skills.
